As I have said in my last article that I will bring some more information on competitive Exams here is another one, SSC CGL which is known as Staff Selection Commission-Combined Graduate Level Examination. The Examination is conducted by the Government of India in order to recruit officers or staff to various departments and posts. Today I am going to discuss some important points on SSC-CGL that is Examination Pattern, Eligibility Criteria, Syllabus and test preparation.
1. SSC-CGL Exam Pattern:
To start the preparation for any exams we should first study the exam pattern so that we can clear idea how to start the preparation. As we all know SSC CGL Exam is divided or categorized into four major sections or we can say tiers. Here is some more information on the 4 tiers that you have to deal in the Exams.
Tier 1- It consists of multiple choice questions which is a computer based test.
Tier 2- Tier 2 is also a test which is based on multiple choice pattern. And this test is also online that is computer based.
Tier 3- Unlike Tier 1 and Tier 2, Tier 3 is a written exam.
Tier 4- It generally involves skill test and it can take place wherever it is applicable.
2. Eligibility Criteria:
We all know various competitive exams have different eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for SSC CGL Exam is as follows:-
a. The first and the most important criteria is that you must be a citizen of India.
b. The second criteria is Education Qualification. Now as I have mentioned above different posts are there in the department or organization of Government of India. Based on that here is the full information.
Assistant officer:- For Ass. Audit officer you must have completed the Graduation from a recognized university and you should have at least 60% in Mathematics in your 12th Exam Results.
Statistical Investigator:- Must have completed Graduation and have passed 12th with at least 60% in Mathematics.
Compiler Posts:- Must have completed Graduation From Recognized university and should have Economics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
All Other Posts:- Must have completed Graduation from a recognized university.
c. The third criteria is the Physical fitness. Let me tell you one thing there is no point in appearing for the exams if you do not pass the Physical Fitness Requirements.
3. SSC CGL Syllabus:-
Now lets discuss the syllabus for SSC CGL Exam 2018. It is basically divided into 4 major sections which are:-
General Awareness:- In this section, Questions are basically asked from topics like Science, Current Affairs, Sports and General knowledge.
Reasoning:- Topics included are Analogy, Matrix, Word formation, Coding Decoding etc.
Quantitative Aptitude:- The Most Important section in every competitive Exams is Quantitative Aptitude. It has the highest weightage and generally include problems on topics like Ages, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Simple and Compound Interests. So be Prepared for this section.

4. SSC-CGL Exam Preparation:-
